May 2021 election – Jack Bonner

Your Labour candidate for the May 2021 election in Whitestone is local campaigner, Jack Bonner.
Jack Bonner was born at George Eliot Hospital and has called Nuneaton home for over 27 years. He lives with his wife and two cats in Chilvers Coton, and works as a school teacher. He is the current Chair of Nuneaton constituency Labour Party.
Jack has campaigned against Tory cuts to our National Health Service, Police and Children’s Centres. He believes that our communities are stronger when everyone does well, regardless of their income or background.
Jack’s pledges to you:
- To fully support Labour’s plans for town centre regeneration, as part of the Transforming Nuneaton Project.
- To support Labour’s plans for our sports and leisure centres – a new, bigger Pingles, new cycle routes and investment in Riversley Park.
- Support action against fly-tipping and littering, with new fly-tipping cameras to catch offenders.
- Hold regular surgeries and be a visible point of contact for residents.
Jack says “Whitestone is a great place to live, and with Labour’s exciting plans for town centre regeneration, there’s a real opportunity for residents to benefit from the new facilities that will be available. I am committed to keeping local powers in the hands of local residents here in Whitestone – let’s keep democracy local in our borough, and not give it away to Stratford.”
